Training Program Evaluation Dashboard

This dashboard, created in Google Looker studio with data generated by Gemini, goes beyond completion rates and satisfaction rates to measure the impact of a training initiative:

  • Reaction: More useful questions such as “were the hands-on activities practical?” and “will the materials provided help you on the job?” encourage the participants to think honestly about how the training helped them.
  • Learning: Pre- and post-module knowledge checks allow managers to focus their coaching on what the participants still need to reinforce.
  • Behavior: Measuring improvement in behavior during sandbox activities, such as roleplays and hands-on assignments, helps the facilitator to evaluate whether participants are ready to take their new skills into the real world.
  • Results: This dashboard displays results both against the learning objectives (traditional in the Kirkpatrick model) and business objectives (added in the Philips model), in addition to ROI.
